El Paso Locomotive FC Academy Competes in E64 Playoffs – Academy Recap Nov. 10-13, 2023

EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC Academy traveled to Phoenix’s Bell Bank Park over the weekend to compete in the 2023 U.S Youth Soccer National League Elite 64 Playoffs, one of the country’s premier youth soccer tournaments. 

“This tournament provided us with the highest level of competition, organization and professionalism we’ve seen this season.” Academy Director Ivan Militar said. “I and the entire Locomotive organization thank the tournament organizers and USYS for having us amongst the best youth soccer teams in the nation. With the quality on the field that we showed against our opponents, I am certain that with further training and development, we can continue to improve moving forward. Our players and families represented the Club and El Paso in a fantastic manner, and we look forward to taking our next steps on the road to the E64 National Championships next summer.”

About Elite 64 & Elite 64 Playoffs

Elite 64 is the top club-based league format in the National League, offering like-minded elite clubs a platform to compete in an advanced league setting while focusing on maximizing the experience of the players. League play determines the teams’ paths into the Elite 64 Playoffs.

Elite 64 Playoffs represent the first stage of national events for Elite 64 teams. All Elite 64 teams are eligible to compete in the Playoffs, where knockout style competition will see top-performing teams advance to continue on the pathway toward the USYS National Championships.
